The ‘Gold Ribbon’ mark is awarded by Fairer Finance to banks delivering the best customer experience based on combination of consumer polling, official complaints data reported by the Financial Ombudsmen Service and analysis of customer journeys. It takes a sample poll of over 23,000 bank and building society customers across the UK.
Using Fairer Finance’s unique ratings, a Gold Ribbon recognises how happy customers are, how much they trust the bank, how well complaints are handled and transparency, for example in fees & charges. It is also the chosen ratings behind The Times & Sunday Times money website, Money Mentor.
Triodos, the UK’s leading sustainable bank, has consistently been in the top three of the league table of 50 of the UK’s savings providers in recent years. A customer happiness score of 78 per cent is also one of the highest in the sector.
Fairer Finance launched in 2014 and rates financial providers with the best performance either a Bronze, Silver or Gold Ribbon. The ribbons aim to help people looking to make an informed decision when it comes to choosing a bank, building society or insurance provider.
James Daley, managing director at Fairer Finance commented: "Triodos continues to be one of the highest rated brands. With growing numbers of people looking for a bank with a socially positive focus, Triodos has been quietly picking up a loyal following. Many congratulations on staying near the top in what has become a very competitive sector."
